Back to the basics of Education
Why the school board?
In the past year I have become increasingly concerned with the social and political direction in which our nation is headed, and with that, what is happening in our public school systems. With the occurrence of widespread virtual learning due to the "covid pandemic", parents have become far more involved in the education process with their children. Education practices have been revealed that parents are concerned about, and civically minded patrons are getting involved. While main stream media silences most concerns, social media (when not completely censored) has been flooded by parents and others concerned with the social and political manipulations occurring within public school systems.
A little about me:
I was raised in a small rural northwestern Kansas town named Herndon. I spent my entire K-12 school experience in one school. I can remember most of my teachers names and what classes they taught. I had a graduating class of 13 students, my smallest high school class having just 3 students. We were raised by our parents to have a strong work ethic. I worked hard to do well in school. Throughout my life I have continued advancing in my chosen profession of nursing and have been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for 20 years.
